To be eligible, a candidate must be an Indian citizen or OCI with a recognised foreign medical qualification, have the final medical course result announced, and possess an Eligibility Certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC).

FMGE 2026 Result

The FMGE July 2026 results are available by logging into the official NBE portal, and the candidates who qualify need to collect their pass certificates from the NBE office personally for NMC/SMC registration.

The FMGE result for July 2026 for both the June and December sessions will be out soon. Candidates can access their scores by signing into the official NBE portal with their credentials, as the result will not be sent by post or email. Scorecards will be available for download about one week after the declaration of the results.

Qualified candidates have to come in person to collect their pass certificates from the NBE office upon submission of the necessary original documents. This certificate is obligatory for the registration application at the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the State Medical Council (SMC) to be able to practice medicine legally in India.

To qualify for the FMGE 2026, all candidates, regardless of category, must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 total marks, which is 50%.
