Module 1: Foundations of Pediatric & Neonatal Emergency Medicine
Core principles of pediatric emergency care, resuscitation, triage, airway management, oxygen therapy, and early intervention for shock and distress.
Module 2: Pediatric Trauma & Acute Care
Trauma assessment, head injuries, burn management, fractures, chest/abdominal trauma, pediatric surgical emergencies, and critical care transport.
Module 3: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Training
Mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, inotropes, sepsis management, post-op care, multi-organ dysfunction, and pediatric renal failure management.
Module 4: Infectious Emergencies & Toxicology
Managing pediatric infections, meningitis, respiratory diseases, dehydration, poisoning cases, antidote use, and infection control protocols in pediatric ICUs.
Module 5: Advanced Pediatric Life Support & Procedures
PALS certification, neonatal resuscitation, ultrasound-guided procedures, central lines, chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture, and tracheostomy management.
Module 6: Research & Leadership in Pediatric Critical Care
Clinical research methodologies, ethics, patient safety, crisis management, interdisciplinary teamwork, leadership, and career pathways in pediatric emergency care.
Certificate
Candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion by the KIMS Hospitals, on successful completion of the emergency medicine and critical care Fellowship.
